HTA HT-300A® and Shimadzu AOC-20i/AOC-20s® with the Diplomat® Technology

The Diplomat translator allows for your existing chromatography software to be used with other brands of auto-injectors, rather than being exclusive to Agilent equipment. Because the Agilent 7673 ALS is no longer supported, lab groups are faced with the possibility of having to replace their entire GC system because of an injector failing. On average, a company would have to spend up to $35,000 or more to replace one of these systems. Because of this, Horizon Instrument Group developed The Diplomat. With the Diplomat, lab coordinators now have the option to "mix and match" the GC with other brands of auto-injectors, providing them with a viable alternative at a fraction of the cost.

In addition to the Cobra L/S, the two brands of auto-injectors that the Diplomat currently supports are the HTA HT-300A, and the Shimadzu AOC-20i / AOC-20s systems. These injectors can be controlled using either the RS-232 interface, or HPIB/GPIB mode, depending on your system's requirements. Also, the performance and repeatability from either of these systems meets and exceeds that of the Agilent 7673 ALS therefore, you don't have to worry about giving up performance for price.
